SPider! And...new Marie Antoinette art

UGH!I HATE spiders, but love spider webs!Anyway, this big guy was on our back deck today...it's slightly out of focus because the breeze kept moving the web.
These 2 journal pages were done for Lee in the Marie Antoinette group.Marie is trying to escape the stress of being Queen by escaping into the gardens of Versailles. She is dressed simply, and is surrounded by flowers. Her afternoon treat will be an apple tarte  using apples from her garden. The French recipe is included for Lee.

Vintage Oriental Name Lucky Dip ATCs

These are three ATCs done for a swap on Ali's UK group. You had to choose 3 Oriental names/meanings,and then do appropriate vintage cards using them.I don't know why I like vintage Asian images so much...there's something very mysterious about them!

Elena's JOD Zetti pages

  1. I just finished these 2 pages for Elena's Journal of Dreams...I decided that her JOD was getting just WAY too beautiful and dreamy, and so,decided to shake it up a bit with some Zetti zaniness.Elena is only 1 of several other artists that I know who really "GET" and appreciate Zetti. For me,doing this style of art is really Zen-like...great to do when you are stressed! VERY cheap therapy!

Translation:When Elena drank too much delicious Cuban coffee, her dreams became very weird!
