Had a wonderful trip last week out to San Diego to meet 3 of my Cornell roomies for a mini reunion: From left to right:Munnie,Susan,Linda and me!

Marie's Mysterious Gloves

These I made for Eileen's Marie journal.They are pages from Marie Antoinette's personal scrapbook.Two beautiful gloves,with hearts woven into them, were delivered to Marie by courrier,with no note attached. Obviously from an unknown admirer. What mystery!

Nick Bantock Mania in my Studio!!!

My friend Marita is hosting a really fun swap of envelopes and postcards,done in Nick Bantock style;each person chose one country to do with it as well. So (since France was already taken),of course,I chose Egypt! I loved working with many of Nicks' images and colors ,throwing in lots of Egypt stamping and bits of newspapers. I also REALLY loved using Tim Holtz' Distress Stains...these are SO FUN to use and give such vibrant colors!!!

I've been trying to catch up in the soul journal,and with these two ,it is finally up to date.

The single page prompt was  to cut random words from a magazine,find an image to match,and go with it.Fun!

            This week's prompt was "Silence your Inner Critic". Which is REALLY
                          hard to do sometimes!!!

These two pages I did for Daisy's Marie journal.I've been wanting to use this image for a really long time,and her journal was just the right size for the 

feathers!

Soul Journal pages

The prompt on this first one was just "flowers". It means: In the language of flowers,Pansy means "I'm thinking of You".Pansies have always been one of my all-time favorite flowers!

          

The prompt for this was to write ourselves a letter 5 years from now. My letter is inside;it is too personal to share with the world!
