Out of Africa

I recently returned from a trip of a lifetime,on safari to Kenya and Tanzania. I took over 1500 photos! It was really awe-inspiring to be among wild animals at such close range. I travelled with 13 other veteran travelers; our guides were Maasai;we stayed in both lodges and tented camps. Lying in bed at night hering lions and hyenas and wildebeest and flamingos.....can't be beat. Here's a few of my favorite photos:

Sing Me a Song...

...is the name of the newest Round Robin journal project I'm in. I have chosen a bunch of my favorite song lyrics...each artist will pick one to do pages with...fun!
My word for the year 2014 is SIMPLIFY. (Funny...I've noticed many other friends have chosen this word as well.) So,in keeping with this idea,I made a VERY simple journal with only  Washi tape as binding. The small piano keys are made from my hoard of Starbucks cards!

For my pages I chose to do one of my all-time favorite songs,"Blackbird", by Paul McCartney. My Paul!
