My Great-Grandma

My newest Round Robin art journal group is called Vintage Ancestors. We were to make a journal starring a vintage photo of a real or "instant" ancestor,in the form of cabinet cards.

I have been wanting to use this beautiful photo of my great-grandma Alice Shields for a long time now,so this was a perfect project. Alice was known for her beautiful floor length hair!

I then created a journal,and put ALice's "story","The Keys to Alice", inside and sent it off to the first artist in our group....it will be so fun,when I eventually get it back, to read who Alice will meet,and if she will indeed find the key to her destiny.
