My two week trip to Italy was...well...fantastico!!!
I began with a week,solo. I spent three days in Rome first. I had not been to Rome since my Jr. year in college,and do not have great memories of it. It was at Christmas time,we were homesick,wet and cold,and it was crowded. I am so glad I got to go back,because I loved it! The weather was too hot actually,almost 100o a couple of days,and humid,but it was beautiful and sunny. I took two hald day walking tours,of the Vatican,and of the Antiquities.

Soooo happy to see some beautiful photos of Rome...sounds like you used your time well and probably collapsed on your bed at night, happily exhausted! Especially loved Vatican reflections and my favorite is the abandoned shoe...plays havoc with my imagination!! Again, welcome home, friend. I look forward to more of your "trip report!"

Sue, welcome home! Your pictures are fabulous and so sharp in detail you must have a great camera! Love the shoes on the Spanish steps and the mysterious bread on the rock on the shoe? Hope your classes were everything you expected and that you'll have lots to teach us in March in The Keys!
